December Nights & Holiday Lights

One of the best light displays of the city can be found at the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens, where more than 500,000 lights will be twinkling brighter than tinsel. With a variety of Holiday themed attractions like music, a magical railroad and sweet treats, there’s a surprise around every corner.

When: Wednesday-Sunday, November 27-December 13 and daily December 16-24 from 6-9 p.m.

Magical 3D Holiday Light Show

For a spectacular show, bring the family to the Savannah Harbour Foundation’s Holiday Series 3D video projection performance like no other seen in Savannah! Each night there will be a show at 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. while the resort holds its around the world festival. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online.

When: December 18-20

Savannah Reindeer Run

Sweat off all those holiday sweets and take a stance against bullying by participating in the Savannah Reindeer Run. There’s an 8k run or a kiddie race where crossing the finish line will kick off the festivities with games, cookies, and costume contests!  All proceeds will support the Prevention Education Program at the Rape Crisis Center.

When: December 19th at 8:45am
